The New Future
Back to the beginning

Why now

The future will not wait.
Neither should we.

AI is moving the edge of what is possible. This is an invitation to decide what should exist next—and help bring it here.

The invitation

We need more people building.

You weren’t meant to go work for a company. This whole concept of a job as a career is barely a century old—an invention of the Industrial Revolution.

That is not far back in human history. What we are doing now is not something new, but a return to what we truly were: sovereign individuals.

We worked in groups, in small hunter-gatherer communities, but we were in charge of ourselves. We each played a role. No one was simply an underling; everyone had to work together. Everyone had sovereignty over their expertise, control over themselves, and a structure that worked for everyone.

We are returning to something like that. What is happening is not destructive. It is the breaking of what was always going to be a temporary structure. This whole idea of giant corporations, of having a job, of having a career—this was a temporary invention, not the final form. It is not some perfect ideal that we have to maintain as we evolve.

And what is coming is so, so exciting. But if you cannot imagine that future—if you cannot imagine any reality other than the one that exists—then it is scary. But that is where we come in.

We have a glimpse of the future. And that is enough.

We do not know exactly what this future will look like. We do not know how we are going to get there. But we have a glimpse, and the rest we can figure out.

That is why you are here. That is what this is about. Because we are going to do it.

We are going to figure it out. We are going to help everyone else see this incredible future ahead of us. We are going to discover it together. And we are going to see that there was nothing to fear but fear itself.

The future is bright. Let’s go create it.
