Capability is diffusing faster than adoption

Benchmark gains and lower inference costs are widening what small teams can attempt, while dependable use still depends on workflow redesign.

Evaluation is moving into the workflow

General benchmarks cannot answer whether an AI system is reliable for a particular person, process, or consequence.

Visible trust must not outrun system truth

A founder-only release audit found two hidden trust gaps: a shared Preview could substitute mock AI when the real provider contract was absent, and an internal database failure could cross the client boundary. Both paths were changed to fail closed and the same full verification suite then passed. The next opening is to prove the identical boundaries in Production and keep this as a repeatable release-audit pattern.
