Frontier Brief / reviewed editorial
Jobs are bundles of tasks—and the bundles are moving
AI is more likely to transform the content and coordination of work than erase whole occupations at once.
A tool can make one task faster while making the surrounding system worse: more review burden, less context, hidden surveillance, or a broken handoff. The frontier is participatory redesign. A useful Expedition starts with a worker's real task, names what should remain human, and observes whether a small change improves both the output and the experience of doing the work.
